IL&FS Tamil Nadu Power Company Ltd (“ITPCL”) is a SPV incorporated by IL&FS Group under the energy platform (i.e. IEDCL) for implementation of the Thermal Power Project (“Project”), at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.
IL&FS Tamil Nadu Power Company Limited (“ITPCL”) is an integrated operating thermal power asset with captive port and mine ( yet to be operationalized). Currently 1200 MW ( 2 x 600 MW) operational since Sep’15 and Apr’16 respectively. Overall plant to setup 3180 MW thermal power plant in Kothattai, Ariyagoshti and Villianallur revenue villages of Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District. The project is being implemented in Phases. Second phase shall have 3 x 660 MW.
ITPCL intends to empanel reliable IMPORTED COAL Suppliers for its 2 X 600 MW Import coal based power plant based in Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu. In this regard, ITPCL invites expression of interest (EOI) from Vendors who satisfy the qualification criteria mentioned in the EOI document.
